Parking is reserved for disabled visitors and those unloading goods, so you are asked to park in Gibson Road multi-storey car park opposite the hall.  Multi-storey car parks are also available in Throwley Way and St Nicholas Way, which are within a few minutes walk.

If travelling by train, Sutton Station is five minutes walk, with trains from Victoria, St Pancras International, London Bridge, Wimbledon and Dorking stopping there.




Society Databases

A database of strays is held by the Society, but they make a small charge to people asking for searches to be conducted in this index. 

The Society also has a Super Name Index, which is a database of surnames and forenames found in their resources.  For payment of a fee, the Society is prepared to conduct searches in this index.

Society Research Centre

The Society has a Research Centre situated at:

The Society makes a small charge to people utilising the resources at the Centre.

Research Centre Location

If travelling by train, Lingfield Railway Station is on the East Grinstead line from London.  

If travelling by bus, many bus stops are situated in the High Street.  Bus 236 from Westerham via Edenbridge and Bus 409 from Caterham stop near the Centre.

Research Centre Accessibility

The building is fully accessible and has disabled facilities.

Research Centre Refreshments

Light refreshments are available at the Centre, but if you do not wish to eat there, a pub and restaurant are along the High Street, along with numerous food shops.

Society Research Service

If you are unable to visit Lingfield, for payment of a fee, the Society can conduct research on your behalf.
