Kansas Genealogical Society

Birthday and Anniversary Announcements taken from newspapers are available on the site, along with notices of Obituaries. 

They have an extensive range of archives, which incorporate over 15000 Books and Manuscripts, CD-ROMs, microfiche and microfilm. 

They also have an on-line catalogue which lists documents held by the association. 

A quarterly newsletter called The Treesearcher is published and it is possible to purchase back issues of this publication.


Midwest Historical and Genealogical Society

The group was established in 1966.  Their Library is located at 1203 North Main, Wichita, where an extensive collection of archives are accessible, including Census Returns, Directories, Cemeteries, CD-ROMs and Microfiche. 

An on-line catalogue is available on the site. 

Many on-line databases are also accessible, which incorporate:

North Central Kansas Genealogical Society

The association was organised in 1977.  They hold many archives in the Paris Room of Cawker City Public Library, which include resources relating to many Counties in the form of Books, Cemetery Transcripts and Newspapers. 

Many Indexes and Census Returns on Microfilm are also accessible.

The association holds an extensive collection of resources, which include:
