Oxfordshire Family History Society

Founded in 1976, Oxfordshire Family History Society encourages and promotes the study of genealogy, specifically in the counties of Oxfordshire and North Berkshire.

If you live locally, but have ancestors from elsewhere, you can also obtain help from the Society.

Their aims are to promote interest in family history and genealogy, to provide a forum for those wishing to exchange news and information, to teach people about the variety of genealogical records, to preserve and publish records, and to transcribe memorial inscriptions.
