The aims of Ystradgynlais Family History Society are to promote and encourage the study of genealogy and family history.  Several meetings are held each year that members are welcome to attend.

The local newspaper covering 1898-1971 has been transferred on to microfilm by the Society, this being available in Ystradgynlais Library.  You are advised to book the machine because the films are in high demand.
